MUN Oxfam is a campus group of Oxfam Canada, an international development organization dedicated to finding lasting solutions to poverty and injustice through sustainable development, humanitarian efforts and advocacy work.

This year, MUN Oxfam:
- “Land Grabbed” MUN’s Community Garden. This was a media stunt aimed at raising awareness about the inequalities of land ownership and accessibility. See the media release here.
- is planning for the third annual MUN Oxfam Gala, which will take place in February.
- is promoting Oxfam Unwrapped, Oxfam Canada’s holiday fundraiser. With Unwrapped, you can give holiday gifts that give twice: sending a card to the gift recipient and funding chickens, school supplies, water, goats, etc, for communities in developing countries.
